Stepping Outside Of The Game

 The collective life has been a game.

It is not real.

 It is not real in that it does not reflect the True Eternal Reality.

It has been a game of fear and frustration – damned if you do and damned if you don’t – and it has been a game easily dominated by snakes and weasels.

The rules of the game have been lies designed to allow the few to control and exploit the many. The lies that have been used are lies that appeal to our deepest fears and to our lowest selves. They are lies based on survival…the lowest common denominator.

Therefore, if you haven’t chosen to play the game, you have been faced with the threat of lack and limitation, fear and separation. You have had to confront the possibility that you and your family might become downtrodden, ridiculed, homeless, bankrupt…or worse…you might not even survive.

And survival, of course, is the lowest rung on the ladder of existence.

So where, one might ask, has this fear based survival game gotten us? Has all the suffering been worth it? Has the gain been worth the pain?

Most of us, even after thousands upon thousands of years of evolution within the rules of this game, are no more than a couple of paychecks away from the lowest rung on the ladder of existence. Many of us – and these are our brothers and sisters – have but a desperate and tenuous grip on the first rung of the ladder. We keep grabbing on and trying to make it. We keep trying to play the game, with little or no success.

Obviously, it’s time for a new game because this game is no fun.
